This transitional master bathroom was gutted and reconfigured to maximize storage, light and space. A new upper window was installed to allow for the vanity to be positioned on the exterior wall. This new layout afforded the homeowners to have a roomy shower (replaced a bath/shower) and a toilet hidden from view. We used a 12×12 calacatta floor tile, a dramatic wall to wall white hex tile with warm toned grout, and a penny tile on the shower floor inspired by the calacatta tones. The walls were painted a warm neutral, and decorated with simple framed artwork and a spectacular mirror over the vanity. The dark wood custom vanity adds contrast to the space, which creates a stunning and peaceful transitional master bathroom.
