ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This modern farmhouse walk-in pantry was created by capturing a bit of space from a closet, an office, and a main floor bathroom. We added dark cabinetry for a dramatic look with brushed brass hardware for a touch shine. The natural wood shelves and butcher block countertop introduce a farmhouse element along with the black and white subway tile. We carried through the original hardwood floors and added a vintage inspired rug for color and print. The industrial sconces from Rejuvenation furthered the overall look along with the colorful cookbooks and vintage decor. A new window was installed along with built-in shelves, working around the bulkhead. The extra refrigerator, wine fridge, and abundance of storage and countertop space makes this space incredibly functional. We are so pleased with both the overall look and function of this modern farmhouse walk-in pantry!

WORDS FROM OUR CLIENT

We decided to remodel our home in 2020 when the world shut down. A friend had worked with The Phinery and recommended I give them a call. It was the single most important call I made to assure the outcome I had envisioned! I know what I like when I see it and my design taste is eclectic of many styles. Becky helped me bring together my style in a way that worked AND suggested elements I wouldn't have thought of and enhanced the overall result. She had a vision and eye for design and made a recommendation on the layout of our master bath that the architect, contractor, my husband or I didn't think of after hours of trying to come up with a solution. Her suggestion completely changed the flow and I'm not exaggerating when I walk into my bathroom and thank her every day. It is an understatement to say we are so happy to have found, and worked with, The Phinery. Thank you!
